Molinnis - exhibition layout NGS-cambs

Morning, ik had vorig weekend het genoegen om een van onze layouts te bedienen die we niet zo vaak publiekelijk showen, enjoy 
Molinnis is an imaginary location, but the layout is based around operations on the Newquay Branch in Cornwall since privatisation in the 1990s.
The layout is set at the edge of the town and new housing is beginning to encroach on the countryside. A disused china clay dries is a reminder of the once extensive industrial activity in this part of the world.
The “main route” that runs diagonally across the layout sees local and regional passenger trains. The branch line is freight only and handles a variety of china clay trains to one of few remaining quarries. The factory produces electrical products, some of which are sent out by rail as was the case with Fitzgerald Lighting in Bodmin.
